Tuesday Treat Day: Cake Cobbler. Easy Meal!

Yes, it’s Wednesday and for that mistake, I’ll post today, thursday, and friday.


I really don’t know if this cake can be any easier. Most people have these items in their house at all times. Very easy and tasty too!


Easy Berry Cobbler


Cake Cobbler:


Two 12-oz bags frozen mixed berries/peaches

1 box white cake mix

Approximately 1 can of diet 7-up or other clear soda

(might need more than 1 can of soda to avoid dry spots) 


Place frozen fruit in a 9×13 baking dish. Add dry cake mix over the top. Pour soda slowly over cake mix. DO NOT stir the cake mix and the soda  – this will give you a ‘crust’. If you stir the two, you will have a cake like topping.

** After cooking for a small amount, i did end up stirring the mix. The cake wasn’t under the liquid and was just sitting there not cooked. I would say add 1 1/2 can of soda. Also i used sierra mist, not 7-up, so maybe that had something to do with it. Or else, make sure its all covered. **


Bake 350 for 45-50 min or longer until berries are cooked.
