Manic Monday: Brown Sugar Sausages.

Since I didn’t post at all last week. I figured two uploads were in order. Both are snacks, and sweet. This recipe is perfect and I mean perfect for a football party. I won a house party for Buffalo Bills & Coors Light. It was the home opener game and I figured  that some good tailgating food was in order. This was not the game yesterday, but the week before. ( When they were undefeated)  I made these little treats and the pan was completely empty before the game was over.  So easy, and simple.

Brown Sugar Sausages

3 packages kielbasa, any variety,

1 package (1 lb.) of dark brown sugar (light brown sugar is OK if dark is unavailable).

You want a ratio of two or three packages kielbasa to one package sugar, but this recipe is flexible enough that you can add or subtract a kielbasa.

Slice the kielbasa into quarter-size pieces and place them in the slow cooker.

Pour the entire box of sugar on top of the kielbasa, and stir quickly to combine.

Cook on low for 5 hours OR on high for 2 1/2 hours.
